A chandelier from the Royal Palace

1903

When the Great Dining Hall at the Royal Palace in Oslo got electric lighting in 1903, eight old crystal chandeliers for candles were sold at auction.

One of them ended up at Grefsheim.

It still hangs there, in the dining room.
