Before 1907
We know little about the origins of the two large mirrors in the drawing room. Both are marked Paris on the back, but who brought them to Grefsheim, and when, is unknown.
They can be seen in photographs from Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson's visit in 1907, and so have been at the farm for at least 119 years.
Their design points to 19th-century French interior tradition, but the mirrors have not been dated more precisely. For now, the Paris marking and the old photographs are the only sure traces of their history.
