1777
In 1777 Grefsheim was sold to Halvor Gundersen of Sterud on Nes. The seller was Jens Grønbech Wessel, who had taken over the farm through his family.
Jens was the nephew of Peter Wessel Tordenskiold, the naval hero of the Great Northern War. His father was Tordenskiold's elder brother.
Jens himself made much of the connection. When he petitioned the king for the title of chancery councillor in 1761, he used his uncle as an argument.
With the sale in 1777, Grefsheim left its old connection with the Storhamar estate.
